Mobile kiosks play a big role in meeting passers-by's subsequent needs on the way to work and when returning home. The vendors do not have trade licences and operate their kiosks illegally. In most cases the city administration tolerates them knowing that they significantly contribute to meeting the demand of many city dwellers and especially of the urban poor.
