Rynek, Wroclaw, Poland.

The market square ("Rynek") in Wroclaw is Europe's second largest square. Surrounded by pituresque buildings the open space appears to be of very high value, just as if someone had thought well about the phrase: "The exterior walls of your house are the interior walls of my open space. So make them beautiful!" All around the West Polish city of Wroclaw you will find little bronze statues of dwarfs, integrated and sometimes even hidden in public spaces or inside semi-private spaces, such as malls. This combination of marketing and image-building shows how a city can innovatively emphasise its precious public spaces. #publicspace #architecture #urbanbeautification#marketsquare #city_explore
