My favourite Spot in Dortmund.
I lived and studied in Dortmund, a former industrial city in Northwestern Germany. One of my favourite spots in Dortmund has been the top of a former sanitary landfill which has been converted into a recreation side through greening it. From the top of the hill you can view almost the entire city. In the Ruhr area you can find a lot of former differently used areas which have been converted into recreational spaces which has made the region greener, attracting visitors.
