#thanksforsharing #sharingisaboutcaring ··· “ The Kenyatta International Convention Centre (KICC) is the largest Convention centre in Eastern Africa at 105metres high and 28storeys. The KICC rooftoop which doubles up as a helipad, is my favorite spot in the city. Going up to the rooftop a brief history of Nairobi and Kenya, courtesy of the Kenya Tourism Board, greets you. Centrally located, the rooftop gives a 360 degree bird's eye view of the city center and the city limits. Different skyscrapers and building styles stand out as well as the different land use zones. From the top it's easy to denote the industrial area; the recreational areas such as Uhuru Park, Central Park, Nairobi National Park and the Railways Golf Course; the Old Railway Station, and sometimes planes are seen landing and taking off from Wilson airport and JKIA; the surrounding suburbs are also visible. The stunning view to as far as Ngong Hills and the gentle breeze make the place all magical. #myfavoritespot What's your favorite spot in your city?
